Z-walkie talk

I couldn’t see fro the whole night. Weirdly it was easier to deal with when I was moving. When I sat down, that’s when I started to get nauseous. Wicked turn out regardless of my vision! It’s an estimated 800-1200 people that showed up. After seeing the photos, I can probably vouch for that. There were so many zombies I just didn’t see that night.  Kool-aid Guy, with his brains sticking out was a great one.

We’ve also got a tradition going, two years running now at least. At the end of the walk my and my friends go into the Fort Garry Hotel and have a drink at the jazzbar. Last year it was just Jeremy and I, but this year it grew to 10 people. It’s a lovely way to end the night. I love the contrast of dead and bloody with upperclass, no hats allowed.

As you may have read, Chad and I are planning a road trip.

roadtrip

Things we hope to hit up: Calgary stampede, white water rafting, hot springs, friends in Vic and Van, our first ferry ride, surfing, Los Angeles in general, warped tour, Conan, and hopefully the San Diego comic con.  Obviously there is tons in between to do, this is just the start. But . . .we have to earn it. We have to complete 3 months of working out. We are sick of not being able to stick to our guns. So we have now resorted to giving ourselves an ultimatum. It’s depressing to think that I don’t have enough self-motivation, I want to be proud of me.  Say something and do it.

Today is a great day for me to start this because last night I sold my car. Meaning, I AM OUT OF DEBT and then some. I can now start saving, yea weird eh? I’m going to open a second account today and actually start *gulp* saving money.

So if I don’t see you in the next 3 months, don’t be offended, I’m off being awesome and sticking to my goals.  :P

As cheesy as it sounds, today really is the first day of the rest of my life.  Wish me luck!
